Marriage leave

You may be allowed up to 5 days special leave with pay at the time of your marriage or civil ceremony. If you work part time, your entitlement is pro rata.

Eligibility

When you marry, you may be eligible for up to 5 days of paid special leave. To be eligible, your combined special leave and annual leave allowance for the year in which you marry cannot total more than 24 days. Annual leave carried over from another leave year is not included in the total of 24 days.

Applying for marriage leave

You should let your manager know that you wish to request special leave.

Apply for special leave through HR and Payroll Self Service.

If HR Self Service is not available in your area, fill out the special leave on marriage application form - HR108n
