Supporting international staff
Every staff member deserves to be treated with dignity and respect, free from bullying, harassment, or sexual harassment. We value the diversity of our organisation and rely on you, our staff, to deliver frontline, essential services. Keeping staff and service users safe is our priority.
Verbal, physical, or online aggression towards our staff is never acceptable. It is everybody’s responsibility to ensure a safe workplace for everyone.
The HSE follows the EU definition of work-related aggression and violence as ‘any incident where staff are abused, threatened, or assaulted in connection with their work. This includes challenges to their safety, wellbeing, or health'.
