Pharmacy
Your pharmacist can advise you on over-the-counter medicines that will help with aches, pains or the common cold.
GP and GP Out of hours
For general and persistent health issues including mental health issues, visit your GP / urgent out-of-hours service.
Injury Units
Visit our Injury Units in St. John’s, Ennis and Nenagh Hospitals for broken bones, sprains, and minor burns. Go to your Injury Unit when you need an x-ray, cast, sling, stitches or bandage, but not an overnight hospital stay.

Emergency department
For serious or life-threatening emergencies or unexpected illness, you should go to the Emergency Department (ED) or call the emergency services on 112 or 999.
