The Centre of Nurse Education, Cork provides:

  • a broad range of quality-assured education
  • training and professional development programmes for registered nurses

These programmes support nurses in the ongoing maintenance and development of their competencies. Cork CNE provides services to Cork University Hospital, Mallow General Hospital and Cork Mental Health Services.

Booking your place

  1. Log into HSELand
  2. Click on Courses at the top of the screen
  3. Click Catalogues
  4. Click on ONMSD icon
  5. Click on CNE Cork icon
  6. Select your Hospital/Provider
  7. Select the course you wish to enrol in and Enrol

If for any reason you wish to cancel your place please withdraw your booking via HSELand so that your place can be filled.
All “no-shows” are monitored and reported back to the relevant line manager and the DON’s office.

The Centre of Midwifery Education (CME) facilitates midwifery, neonatology, gynaecology and other related Continuous Professional Development (CPD) educational programmes for midwives and nurses working within Cork University Maternity Hospital and Cork community health organisation.

  5. Search for your programme and book your place

Applicant cancellation

If it becomes necessary for you to cancel your place, please cancel your place via your HSeLand booking as soon as you become aware that you will not be attending. This allows your place to be offered to another midwife/nurse/healthcare professional. An ongoing audit of all participants who book onto programmes and actual attendance is maintained.

The Centre of Nurse Education Mercy University Hospital provide continuing professional education, training and development.
