Building on the success of past funding initiatives 'The Hospital Innovation Fund' and 'The Community Innovation Fund,' we have rebranded ourselves as Spark Impact.
Spark Impact provides funding ranging from €5,000 to €90,000 for transformative healthcare projects that address the most pressing healthcare challenges.
The initiative is supported by:
- National Doctors Training and Planning (NDTP)
- Office of the Nursing and Midwifery Services Director (ONMSD)
- National Health and Social Care Professions Office (NHSCPO)
In addition to financial assistance, Spark Impact offers a structured application process. This ensures that the selected projects get comprehensive guidance, mentorship, and access to a network of experts and partners. By using this approach, innovators can refine their ideas, validate their solutions and set out a roadmap from concept to implementation.
How to apply
Applications open on 6 February 2024 and close on 22 March 2024.
Projects with the highest potential are selected to participate in the support phase. This is where teams receive tailored feedback and support based on the needs of the project.
Following a final pitch event with a panel of innovation experts, selected projects receive funding (subject to signing a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA)).
