Following the cyber attack on the HSE, at the moment only devices that are connected to the network, in HSE premises, can be supported.
In order to continue to provide the most effective and efficient service to the public, managers must determine which roles require physical attendance by employees at the workplace during this period, in accordance with HR Circular 15/2021.
Managers must ensure that all work premises have implemented robust pre-return to workplace procedures that comply with the Government Work Safely Protocol . Read information on how to implement this Protocol. This information includes links to the pre-return to the workplace form and other guidance documents.
To continue to facilitate physical/social distancing and other public health requirements in the work premises, managers must be innovative in their approach to working arrangements, for example flexible shifts, staggered hours etc, to allow staff to attend HSE premises safely to enable IT support of their devices.
All employees have a critical role in ensuring that the procedures contained in the Work Safely Protocol are followed in order to suppress Covid-19 in the workplace. It is incumbent upon all employees who attend HSE premises to comply fully with the workplace COVID-19 Response Plan.
We continue to work on an IT solution that will support staff to work remotely.
In the meantime, while attending the workplace or HSE premises public health and occupational safety and health advice should be strictly observed.
