The HSE Professional Placement Scheme enables you to recruit international candidates for positions that are difficult to recruit to.
This includes:

- specialist registrars
- radiographers
- audiologists
- psychologists
- clinical nurse specialists
- paramedics
When to use the scheme
Use the HSE Professional Placement Scheme when a local, national or bespoke recruitment campaign does not result in an appointment.
The position being sought must be permanent, or a long term temporary role (more than 6 months).
