A person may require a range of supports during rehabilitation. It is recognised that no one individual or agency can provide these supports. The National Drugs Rehabilitation Framework (NDRF) provides a framework for assessing a person's specific needs and uses the care planning process to coordinate services they may need.
This training programme aims to improve your knowledge of the NDRF and put the protocols into practice.
This training is for staff who work with people who access drug and alcohol services.
Topics include:
- Topic 1 introduces you to the NDRF
- Topic 2 looks at NDRF key concepts
- Topic 3 focuses on NDRF protocols
- Topic 4 provides practical examples of using NDRF in your work
By the end of the training you should be able to:
- outline the purpose of the NDRF
- identify the rationale for each NDRF protocol
- put NDFR protocols and key processes into practice
- recognise the key concepts involved in the NDRF
