Spark Seed is a seed-funding initiative from the HSE Spark Innovation Programme that runs twice a year. It allows frontline healthcare workers to apply for micro funding for innovative projects that have the potential to improve our health service (funding of up to €5,000 per individual or group).
We welcome applications from doctors (NCHDs and consultants), nurses, midwives, HSCPs and pharmacists. Previous applicants may apply with new or revised innovation projects.

Closing date for applications: Friday 26 June at 11.59pm.
Pitching event for shortlisted applicants: commences week starting Monday 27 July 2026.
