  • Online training using HSeLanD

    HSELanD is an online training portal providing courses and learning resources for staff in the HSE. Using HSELanD you can complete ‘start to finish’ interactive learning. Contact HSeLanD support desk at support@hseland.ie

  • Sexual wellbeing

    Information on STIs, consent, relationships, contraception and sexual health education.

  • SKILL programme

    The SKILL programme is a Quality and Qualifications Ireland (QQI) Level 5 training programme for support staff. Applications are currently open for home care support assistants who have an interest in obtaining the Health Service SKILL award at QQI Level 5.

  • Children First

    Introduction to Children First training, available on HSELanD, is mandatory for all HSE staff. The eLearning module lasts approximately one and a half hours, with a certificate on completion. Contact the Children First team at childrenfirst@hse.ie

  • Coaching

    Coaching is available to staff working in the HSE and our partner organisations. To apply for coaching you must complete the coaching application form and email it to hr.nationalcoachingservice@hse.ie

  • Employee Handbook

    The Employee Handbook has information to guide you in your work and help you understand your terms and conditions. It is split into 3 parts: joining the HSE, working for the HSE, leaving the HSE.

  • Foundation programme in sexual health promotion (FPSHP)

    The foundation programme in sexual health promotion (FPSHP) is a 10-day training programme for health, education, community and youth sectors who undertake sexual health promotion in their organisation.

  • Cancer education

    This programme is aimed at nurses in non-specialist oncology roles who care for inpatients with a diagnosis of cancer. It's delivered as a three day (21 hours) theoretical programme. CPD certified.
