The QPS Competency Navigator is a self‑assessment tool that highlights the competencies needed to support safe, high‑quality care. It helps you identify your learning needs and explore recommended training. It also helps you plan your personal and professional development.

These programmes are for staff working in health and social care services, including community, hospital and voluntary settings. They support staff at all levels to build their knowledge, skills and capability in quality and patient safety.

The prospectus lists quality and patient safety related programmes organised into 6 topic areas:

Many programmes attract Continuous Professional Development (CPD) points and support professional registration requirements.

- virtual classrooms and webinars
- accredited programmes delivered with external partners
