Secure Clinical Email
Healthmail is the HSE’s national secure clinical email service. It enables healthcare professionals to send and receive patient-identifiable clinical information safely. It provides a secure alternative to regular email, ensuring confidentiality, traceability and encrypted data exchange.
Healthmail operates within a private, bounded network, meaning only pre-approved health service providers can communicate. It is designed to support patient care across primary, community and secondary care settings.
