International Day for People with Disabilities (IDPWD) takes place on Wednesday 3 December 2025. The aim of this day is to promote awareness, understanding and acceptance of people with disabilities.

The Le Chéile Network is our staff network for employees with disabilities, neurodiverse conditions and long-term health conditions.

The Le Chéile Network and HSE’s Diversity, Equality and Inclusion team will hold an in-person event in Dr Steevens’ Hospital on Tuesday 25 November to celebrate IDPWD.
